4/12 Queer Clay Night: Try Out The Wheel!! 3-5pm
Let’s play in some clay together! This is a class specifically for the LGBTQ+ community and is meant to be a safe space to experience clay and meet some new friends.
BYOB and learn how use a pottery wheel. A great way to play in some clay without committing to a longer class. You will learn the basics of how a wheel works, centering, throwing and shaping ceramic vessels. If you love one of your creations for $10 we will glaze and fire your creation. Feel free to email us if you have any questions!
These classes are set up on a really tight schedule and late students make the class harder for everyone else. Therefore for if you are more than 15 min late we will consider your spot forfeit. Showing up 10 min early is ideal.
Feel free to bring drinks, you must be 21+ to drink alcohol and no glass containers. Please note masks are not mandatory in the studio but any one is welcome to wear them, we also can set up a work table set back a bit for the purposes of social distancing. Please email or call with any questions or concerns: Garnet (970)749-4781 garnet.glaze@gmail.com
Pick up time is 1 month from date of class, please take a photo of your item with the glaze color visible to keep for pick up. Putting a reminder in your calendar is a really good way to ensure you don’t forget, we do not send out reminders. You can find your pottery on the shelf below the unicorn head.
We are open Monday-Thursday 5:30-8pm and Sundays 12-5pm for pick up (Sundays are best!). We keep pots for 2 months after initial class date, after which they may be donated, sold or used for an event.
