Our country is burning, and here at Glazed we are trying to do what little we can to make a safe space and help folks build community when we need it most. So come take a break with us and play in some clay! This is a class specifically for trans and non-binary folks and is meant to be a safe space to experience clay and meet some new friends.

This event is different from many of our other classes as the focus is more of a time to experience clay and meet some new people, rather than our other classes that are more technique and product based. We will have hand-building stations set up and some wheels that folks can take turns trying out with an instructor present.

Cost of the class is free. Tips are appreciated, but not expected. If you love one of your pieces, for $10 we will glaze and fire your creation. There is minimal instruction and we will ask for help cleaning up the space at the end.

These classes are set up on a really tight schedule and late students makes the class harder for everyone else. Showing up 10 min early is ideal.

Feel free to bring drinks and snacks, you must be 21+ to drink alcohol and no glass containers. Please note masks are not mandatory in the studio but any one is welcome to wear them, we also can set up a work table set back a bit for the purposes of social distancing. Pots will be available to pick up a month after your class, Mon-Thur from 5:30-8 and Sundays from 12-5.
